Many people have asked about some of the inspirational sources for my book “Extinction Event”.

The intent of the book is to warn all of us about our patterns: disinformation, economic injustice, political imbalance, animal abuse.

If we don’t find some kind of ‘off’ or ‘pause’ button, there will be nothing left for us to enjoy.

Despite the dark warnings, so many of the ideas were inspired by bright, brilliant and bold people.

Like Jane Goodall.

I’ve read many thoughtful and loving posts about Jane Goodall and The Jane Goodall Institute.

She was brave, focused and taught the world that there’s so much to learn from the animal kingdom. She was one of the first people to make us appreciate that communication comes in many forms and that animals deserve a voice in what we do. She inspired people with organizations like Earth Species Project (ESP) and Interspecies Internet to go out and try to learn what our non-human friends are trying to tell us.

Just recently, I reviewed research from ESP that clearly demonstrated that we as humans are ready to help other animals.

There’s so much to learn.

Let’s follow in the wake that Jane made for us.

Thank you Jane. Thank you Earth Species Project. Thank you Earth.
