Last night, Lisa and I had the good fortune of attending Supercrawl Hamilton’s ‘Welcome to Hamilton’ show. It was a fundraiser for Syrian refugees and was amazing!
Here’s a list of the performers:
- Mother Tareka, a Syrian rapper
- Terra Lightfoot, with an amazing voice
- The Arkells – all of them, not just the original Max Kerman
- Kevin Drew, of Broken Social Scene
- Hayden, and
- (a personal favourite), The National
The Supercrawl organizers managed to pull in about $60,000 for new families.
